Mr. Kouklakis is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) by the University of East London and the Royal Holloway University of London respectively and a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and the European Association for Counselling (EAC).
Mr. Kouklakis has many years of extensive experience in numerous mental health settings working with a wide range of client groups. Until recently he has been offering his professional therapy services under supervision in highly accredited organisations, charities, and institutions such as the English National Healthcare System (NHS), MIND, Change Grow Live (CGL), and privately as an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapist.
Moreover, Mr Kouklakis has been gaining valuable experience for a long period in healthcare, medical and psychiatric centres, drug and alcohol services, schools, military campuses and hospitals. Fields of clinical expertise include assessments and therapeutic treatments for adults and young people who suffer from various anxiety and affective disorders, substance abuse as well as relational and familial difficulties.
Mr. Kouklakis is highly supervised, works closely with other mental health professionals, and follows the national health and care guidelines (NICE). He is also keeping up to date with developments in CBT and Integrative psychotherapy practice in order to be able to achieve the best treatment outcomes with his clients. In addition, Mr. Kouklakis is about to expand his knowledge further in Psychoanalytic therapy as he is preparing for a relevant MA at the Middlesex University of London.
